The Parasite. A play inspired by the writings of Ivan Turgenev.

Olga’s joyous homecoming is marred by an incident that reveals a secret that will change her home life forever. Based upon Turgenev’s The Hanger-On – this adaption relocates the story to modern day rural Russia and explores parasitical elements within Russian society.

Description

Directed by Jackie Skarvellis with Jack Gunn Following a successful run at Pentameters Theatre in September, Carry On Brighton, a New comedy written and directed by award-winning Jackie Skarvellis opens in the West End. The wedding between Henri Theydon Bois and his toy boy lover Al Pepe is due to take place on Brighton Beach. However, with the motley crew of Z-list celebrity hangers-on, a fag-hag and others, it might not go according to plan. Cast: Sally Farmiloe-Neville, Jack Gunn, Beryl Nesbitt, Bryan Hands, Simon Brandon, Daniel Simpson, Alexander Gordon Wood with Sue Van Colle on Piano Director: Jackie Skarvellis
